The foundation of beauty: curating longevity. You cannot build a masterpiece on a shaky foundation — while many view a dental cleaning as a mundane chore, we view it as the most critical appointment on your calendar.
This is not just about polishing teeth; it is about protecting your investment. Whether you have a mouth full of natural enamel or a complete set of porcelain veneers, our hygiene protocols are designed to extend the lifespan of your smile and safeguard your oral-systemic health.
A comprehensive exam goes far beyond a quick look for cavities — it is a deep-dive investigation into the biological and structural stability of your mouth.

Consistency is key for everyone. At BOND Aesthetic, our detailed approach is especially tailored for:

We start with high-resolution photos and digital X-rays (low radiation) to see what is happening between the teeth and under the gums.
We measure the space between your tooth and gum (the pockets) to screen for early signs of gum disease.
We use specialized ultrasonic tools that use water vibration to gently flush away tartar and bacteria — replacing the dreaded “scraping” sensation with advanced, gentle technology.
We hand-scale fine details and finish with a stain-removing polish to leave your teeth feeling glass-smooth.
The doctor reviews all data, checks your bite, screens for cancer, and discusses any cosmetic or functional goals you may have.
We treat a cleaning appointment like a spa visit for your mouth.
If you have sensitive teeth, we offer numbing gels or desensitizing pastes before we even begin.
We don’t scold. We partner with you to find tools and tricks that fit your lifestyle.
Our hygienists are trained specifically in caring for porcelain restorations, using non-abrasive pastes that won’t scratch your veneers.
We allocate ample time for your visit so you never feel rushed in and out of the chair.
For most patients with healthy gums, every 6 months is the gold standard. However, if you have a history of gum disease or high cavity risk, we may recommend a 3 or 4-month interval.
Visual exams can only see the outer surfaces of the teeth. X-rays allow us to see “invisible” decay between teeth, infections at the root tip, and bone loss levels. We cannot treat what we cannot see.
A regular cleaning (prophylaxis) is for patients with healthy gums. A “deep cleaning” (Scaling and Root Planing) is a therapy for active gum disease, where we must clean deep below the gum line under local anesthesia to halt infection.
It shouldn’t. With our ultrasonic technology and gentle hand, discomfort is minimal. If you have extreme sensitivity, please tell us — we have many ways to make it completely painless.
Our office is conveniently located for patients in Aventura, Ojus, Highland Lakes, and those commuting from nearby areas like Sunny Isles Beach and Hallandale Beach.
