Permanent Precision Dental Implants

Restoring the foundation. Losing a tooth is about more than a gap in your smile — it is a loss of structural integrity. We view dental implants as the gold standard for reconstruction, rebuilding the tooth from the root up.

How It Works

The anatomy of an implant

Unlike dentures or bridges which rest on top of the gums or rely on other teeth, a dental implant is a standalone replacement for the entire tooth structure. It consists of three precision-engineered components:

  • The Implant Post: A small, biocompatible titanium or zirconia screw gently placed into the jawbone, acting as a new artificial root.
  • The Abutment: A connector piece that secures the visible tooth to the internal root.
  • The Restoration: The custom-made ceramic crown that sits on top — the only part of the implant the world sees.

Candidates

Candidates for implant therapy

Implants are the most versatile solution in modern dentistry. They are the recommended pathway if you are looking to address:

  • Single Tooth Loss: Replacing a missing tooth without grinding down the healthy neighboring teeth for a bridge.
  • Multiple Missing Teeth: Using implants to support a bridge, eliminating the need for a removable partial denture.
  • Loose Dentures: Securing a loose denture with implants (“All-on-4” or snap-on dentures) so you can eat and speak with total confidence.
  • Failing Teeth: Replacing a tooth that cannot be saved due to fracture or deep decay.

The Process

The treatment timeline

We utilize digital surgical planning to ensure the process is efficient, safe, and minimally invasive.

01

Digital Planning

We use 3D CBCT imaging to visualize your bone density and nerve anatomy, virtually placing the implant on the computer before we ever touch your mouth.

02

Surgical Placement

The implant post is placed into the jawbone. Thanks to our guided surgical guides, this is often a quick procedure with minimal discomfort.

03

Osseointegration

Over the next few months, your bone naturally fuses to the implant, locking it in place. We often place a temporary aesthetic tooth so you aren’t walking around with a gap.

04

The Final Restoration

Once healing is complete, we attach the custom ceramic crown and check your bite to ensure it handles chewing forces perfectly.

The BOND Difference

Why choose BOND Aesthetic?

Successful implant dentistry requires a marriage of surgical skill and cosmetic artistry.

01

Gum Architecture

We don’t just place the hardware; we sculpt the surrounding gum tissue so the implant emerges from the gum line looking exactly like a natural tooth.

02

Guided Precision

We use 3D-printed surgical guides for every case, ensuring the implant is placed at the exact angle required for the best aesthetic result.

03

Metal-Free Options

For patients with metal sensitivities or thin gums, we offer Zirconia (ceramic) implants that are completely white and metal-free.

04

Sedation Dentistry

We offer various sedation options to ensure you essentially “sleep” through the placement appointment.

Good to Know

Frequently asked questions

Is the surgery painful?

Most patients are surprised by how easy the recovery is — often reporting less discomfort than a tooth extraction. We use local anesthesia and sedation to ensure the procedure itself is completely painless.

How long do dental implants last?

The implant post (the screw) is designed to be permanent and can last a lifetime with proper care. The crown on top may need replacement after 15–20 years due to normal wear and tear.

Am I too old for implants?

There is no upper age limit for dental implants. As long as you are in good general health and have sufficient bone density, you are a candidate.

What if I don’t have enough bone?

If you have been missing a tooth for a long time, you may have experienced bone loss. We can often perform a bone graft procedure to regenerate the foundation needed to support an implant.
